Bait Storage

Not sure what to do about your baits once they have been delivered from us... the simple guide below should help you keep your bait in tip top condition.

Freezer bait and paste

These must be stored in the freezer, if you want harder baits leave them out to dry for between 10-14 hrs and then freeze them. 

Shelf-life ready mades

These must be stored in a dry shady area do not allow to sweat up in bags. No need to freeze. 

Air dried baits

Place the bait in air dried bags and store in a dry stable temperature area. Kent Particles does not except any responsibility if your air dried bait goes off after it has been delivered.

Pop-ups & dips

These are shelf life store in fishing bag. 

Dry partciles, all pellets & all groundbaits

Leave in a cool dry place

Prepared particles

Store in the freezer, these will last for approx 4-8 days without freezing, dependent on weather. Submerge in water will make them last longer.

Particle Preparation

Follow the guide below on how to prepare all of your particles perfectly.

Particle	What to do?
Hemp Seed	Soak for 8-10 hrs then boil for 20 mins until split.
Maize	Soak for 12-16 hrs then boil for 20-30 mins until soft.
Tiger Nuts	Soak for 24 hrs boil for 30-40 mins.
Jumbo Tiger Nuts	Soak for 24 hrs boil for 30-40 mins.
Parti-blend	Cover in Boiling water.
